MADRID, 9 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) –
Vox has filed a complaint, before the Court of Instruction of Madrid, for crimes against property, resistance and disobedience, public disorder and search of the home of a legal person against the young people who stuck to the frames of ‘La Maja nude’ and ‘ The dressed Maja’ in the Prado Museum in Madrid and against “his cronies” .
The political formation recalls that after the action of the members of Futuro Vegetal sued (Sam, Alva, Isa and Joanna Giménez García), the frames of the paintings were damaged. In this sense, the National Legal Deputy Secretary of Vox, Marta Castro, underlines in her writing the artistic relevance of them. “These are frames dated 1910, from the series of Fernandino frames that were installed during the direction of the painter José Villegas (that is, between 1902-1912). In addition, by acting violently on the paintings and frames, they caused damage in ‘Las Majas’ and due to the persistence of the security agents for them to leave the room, they caused the room that houses the paintings to have to be closed”, he said.
Specifically, Castro has asked the Court to open the door to the Prado National Museum, so that they can forward the identification of the two defendants as well as the policemen who acted. He also requests that the art gallery submit the report on the value of the damaged goods. In addition, the statement of the defendants in condition of being investigated and of the legal representative Futuro Vegetal.
Finally, Vox has urged the Scientific Police to certify the veracity of the links that the training has provided in the complaint.
