The Second Vice President and Minister of Labor, Yolanda Díaz, has responded to the former Vice President of the Government Pablo Iglesias, – who assured that the “historic” achievements in the Ministry are due to the purple formation – and has said that he does not owe him ” nothing to anyone”, while he has indicated that he is not going to be distracted in responding to the words of the former leader of Podemos demanding that ‘Sumar’ respect the party led by Ione Belarra.
“I do not owe anything to anyone, if you allow me this statement and I am grateful to all the people, not now but in advance, who gave me the opportunity to be a minister,” Díaz added in an interview on Navarra Television, collected by Europe Press.
In this regard, he clarified that “it is true” that Iglesias proposed to her to be the Minister of Labor despite her refusal at first. “I have gratitude and respect for everyone and they will never see me criticizing anyone,” she has wielded.
Likewise, he has insisted that he will not be distracted in responding to Iglesias after the former leader of Podemos demanded respect for the purple formation, bringing up the meeting of the head of Labor in an act in Valencia with Mónica Oltra and Mónica García, but without the presence of the Podemos ministers Ione Belarra and Irene Montero. “I am not distracted. I am leaving my skin for my country,” she has settled.
