MADRID, 2 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The deputy mayor of Madrid, Begoña Villacís, has attacked those who see politics as a “transfer market” and has assured that “people from the PP” also knocked on her door when the lists had to be made to the City Council.
Villacís has answered like this from the district of Latina when she has been asked about information from the newspaper ‘ABC’, which ensures that “up to a dozen former Cs councilors in different municipalities of the Community have requested in recent months to join the ranks of the PP”.
“They talk about ex-ediles of Cs… People from the PP knocked on my door when the lists of the Madrid City Council had to be made (because) for some, politics is a transfer market,” replied the deputy mayor and general coordinator of CS Madrid.
Villacís has stressed that some, like her, take it “more seriously” being “aware of how important it is that there be a liberal project in Spain, a political center, a project that talks about things that no one talks about, about truths uncomfortable, a responsible project, clean of corruption, that continues to talk about regeneration, that does not have a single case of non-legal financing, a project that does not distribute judges, that does not participate in all the pastry”.
“And for now the only one who remains firm in all that is Cs”, stressed Begoña Villacís. “There are people who can fall, hit their heads and understand that euthanasia is bad, that women who abort have to go to jail, that the judges have to be divided, that the televisions have to be distributed” , has launched against those former teammates who would be thinking of jumping to the PP.
