BARCELONA, 25 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Criminal Court 1 of Barcelona has sentenced the ex-wife of the television producer, Josep Maria Mainat, to 2 years and 6 months in prison for forging checks in his name during August 2020.
In the sentence, collected this Tuesday by Europa Press, the magistrate condemned her for a continued crime of falsehood in a commercial document, a continued crime of using an authentic identity document by someone who is not legitimated and for a continued crime of fraud.
Likewise, the magistrate imposes a fine of 1,800 euros, and explains that the sentence “is not final” and an appeal may be filed within 10 days.
