VALLADOLID, 21 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The main suspect in the disappearance and death of the resident of Traspinedo, Esther López de la Rosa, has submitted a brief to the investigating judge of the investigation in which he rejects any authorship in the manipulation of the switchboard of his vehicle.
After an expert witness in the matter presented a report on the electronic units of Óscar S.M’s T-Roc vehicle on October 7, in which he confirmed the existence of two data erasures on February 1 of this year , four days before the body of the young woman was located, and a second manipulation of the switchboard on April 4, the aforementioned, through his lawyer, has denied any intervention in both episodes.
In his brief, to which Europa Press has had access in legal sources, the investigated distances himself from any attempt to erase data from his car that, according to the expert, had to be done by someone with high knowledge in automobile electronics.
Thus, with respect to the first deletion of events and breakdowns and the attempt to encode a new key, which the expert places at 1:54 p.m., Óscar S.M. He maintains that at 1:30 p.m. that day, accompanied by his mother, he left his workplace in Valladolid with his car to pick up his daughter from the school in La Cistérniga.
There, he waited until 2:00 p.m. for his daughter to come out, coinciding with the girl’s mother at the door, who handed him the folder so that he could take her to English classes in the afternoon.
In order to prove such facts, he provides the SMS messages that he and the girl’s mother sent to each other, in addition to the phone bills of one and the other where they appear with the times of the shipments and the numbers of phone. Likewise, this fact was already revealed by her mother in her statement given to the Civil Guard on February 2, 2022.
However, and in order to clear up any doubts in this regard, the defendant’s defense interests request that the telephone companies Yoigo and Orange be notified so that they determine the location at that time of the telephone numbers of the girl’s mother, from Óscar’s mother and from the latter’s phone.
Regarding the incident on April 2, which occurred at 11:05:06 a.m., Óscar S.M. He defends that he could not carry it out either, since he left his house in La Cistérniga at 11:02 a.m. with the T-Rok vehicle and went to the parking lot of the Plaza de Zorrilla in Valladolid with his daughter, since the next day was the mother’s birthday and was going to buy her a present.
He arrived at the car park at 11:16 a.m. and left there at 12:10:05 p.m. In said interval she was in the Rituals store, where she bought different products and later in Intimissimi.
To prove such facts, he contributes the collected route that he carried out marked by Google that begins in La Cistérniga at 11:02 minutes, the Zorrilla parking ticket where the stay of the car is collected and the vehicle registration, the shopping tickets made and the message that the Rituals store sent you directly when you became a member just before paying.
According to this itinerary, the defense sees “totally impossible” that if he leaves the house at 11:02 am and arrives at the Zorrilla car park at 11:16 am, he could have manipulated anything at 11:05:06 am.
In addition to this, and given that on April 2 the T-Roc vehicle was already beaconed by the Civil Guard, it is requested that the latter be released so that the movements of the vehicle recorded by the beacon on that day are provided.
Meanwhile, the head of the Investigating Court number 5 continues to await different reports in order to clarify the disappearance and death of Esther López, who was last seen alive in the early hours of January 13 and whose body was located on February 5 in a roadside ditch, a short distance from Traspinedo.
Since then, various pieces of evidence presented by the Civil Guard, such as the finding of Esther’s DNA remains in the trunk of Óscar S.M. and, among others, the location at dawn of the cars of the mobile phones of both in a space “compatible” with his home in Traspinedo, despite the fact that the investigated party has denied this point, they continue to present the owner of the T-Roc as main suspect and his tourism as a weapon in the death of the young woman as a result of an outrage.
