The Ministry of Defense has announced that it will immediately send generator sets to Ukraine in the face of Russian attacks on the country’s electrical infrastructure, which have already destroyed about 30 percent of the country’s power plants, and seriously affect the civilian population. .
The department headed by Margarita Robles explains that these teams will be sent upon urgent request for this support and it has been agreed by the Defense Contact Group for Ukraine.
It is specifically, 4 generator sets of 400 Kilowatts of power and 1 generator set of 150 Kilowatts, all of them offered by the Air and Space Army.
The generators have already been transferred to the Defense logistics operator and will be transferred in the next 3 days by land to the logistics “hub” for reception and distribution of aid material to Ukraine located in Poland.
According to the Ministry of Defense, “this new Spanish shipment once again reflects the speed and agility of our country in responding to Ukraine’s most urgent needs on the ground.”
