He accuses Sánchez of orchestrating a “confrontation” in the PP but remarks that Ayuso only expresses “the fed up” of the people of Madrid

MADRID, 16 Ago. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Deputy Secretary for Regional and Local Coordination of the PP, Pedro Rollán, defended this Tuesday the “absolute harmony” between the leader of the party, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, and the president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, within the framework of the controversy over compliance with the energy saving plan, while at the same time calling on the Government to withdraw it.

At a press conference at the national headquarters of the PP, Rollán has avoided revealing what the PP will vote when the decree law is debated and has focused on accusing President Pedro Sánchez of orchestrating a “confrontation” between ‘popular’. “Faced with this nervousness and the ‘Feijóo effect’, the president has given instructions to the Council of Ministers to try to find a situation of confrontation”, he has affirmed, emphasizing that “obviously that does not happen”.

In his opinion, Ayuso manifests “the weariness” of the people of Madrid and, although each ‘popular’ leader may have his own “style and forms”, he believes that “essentially” they are all “absolutely aligned and united”, something of which that “neither can boast” the Coalition Executive. Feijóo has criticized the decree, but has assured that the PP will comply with it, while Ayuso insists on taking it to the Constitutional Court.

Rollán has expressed himself along the lines of Ayuso, who has branded the decree “energy censorship”, and has pointed out that “what prohibition entails is censorship”, for which he has once again asked for it to be withdrawn. “The respectful and efficient use of energy has to be consensual, not something capricious”, he continued.

“That a definitive text be agreed upon with the Autonomous Communities and social agents”, the ‘popular’ leader has requested, who has also focused on the fact that there are measures contemplated in the plan “which should be recommendations, flexible and adaptable to each situation “.

In this sense, he has reproached Sánchez for being installed in the “order and control” and not in the dialogue, for which he has recommended to the president “stop, temper, raise his eyes and address in a serene and reflective manner” the situation of Spain, also mentioning inflation or unemployment data.
