Uruguayan striker Luis Suárez confirmed this Tuesday that he has “a pre-agreement” with his country’s Nacional, the team in which he became known before making the leap to Europe, so his signing could be finalized in the next few hours .

In a video published on his social networks, Salto’s, 35 years old and free after playing the last two seasons at Atlético de Madrid, wanted to thank him for “the affection” that both he and his family have received “these last days and it has been impressive”.

“All the messages that have reached us have been very exciting, they have touched our hearts a lot in this situation that we have to decide and it is inevitable to reject the opportunity to play again in Nacional”, said Suárez.

The forward remarked that there is already “a pre-agreement” with the Montevideo team and expressed hope that “in the next few hours the details will be finalized” to reach the agreement that “everyone” wants. “I hope to enjoy this new stage and see you in the next few days,” he said.

In this way, Luis Suárez is very close to returning to Nacional, with whom he played when he was young between 2005 and 2006, winning the league title twice and in which he scored 12 goals. From there, he made the leap to European football to play for the Dutch Groningen.
