MADRID, 26 Jul. (EUROPA PRESS) –
Spanish forward Juancho Hernangómez would have already resolved his future for the 2022-2023 NBA season and would play for the Toronto Raptors, which would be his sixth franchise since landing in the US league in 2016.
As indicated by the Spanish-language website of the NBA, based on information from the renowned journalist of the ‘ESPN’ chain Adrian Wojnarowski, the Madrid native, cut by the Utah Jazz last June, would have signed a one-year agreement with the ring champions in 2019.
The portal also pointed out that, according to this information, the agreement for the Spanish international is for one year and is expected to be for 2.3 million dollars (2.2 million euros), the minimum that a player can receive with six years of experience in the NBA.
Juancho Hernangómez hopes that in the Raptors, where other compatriots such as José Manuel Calderón, Jorge Garbajosa, Serge Ibaka and Marc Gasol have already played, he can have the stability that he lacked last season, where he started with the Boston Celtics, to later go through the San Antonio Spurs and finish in the Salt Lake City team, where he played a leading role in the final stretch of the Regular Phase, before practically ‘disappearing’ in the ‘playoffs’. In addition, he also went through the Denver Nuggets and the Minnesota Timberwolves.
