MADRID, 22 May. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The leader of Ciudadanos, InĂ©s Arrimadas, has asked her party to vote in the Andalusian elections to “avoid the setback” that a recovery of the Inheritance and Donations Tax would entail.

“It cost us a lot to abolish the unfair Inheritance Tax in Andalusia, as in other autonomous communities where the PSOE and PP had been maintaining it for decades,” Arrimadas recalled in a tweet in which he reacted to the fact that the PSOE-A included in its program to recover the tax.

“Let’s avoid setbacks by supporting the only party that carries out economic policy with a head and social policy with a heart,” he added in his publication, collected by Europa Press.

The Government of PP and Cs decided in 2019 to reduce the tax rate up to 99% and justified making it compatible with “the reduction of 1,000,000 euros on the tax base, in order not to harm acquisitions by inheritance of up to said amount, since otherwise they would have to go from not paying taxes to paying 1%”.
