Worldcoin (WLD) has experienced a significant surge of over 15% in its price, reaching $3 in just one day. This positive movement can be attributed to the recent efforts by the Worldcoin team to advance the goals of the project.

Expansion of the Worldcoin World ID system has played a crucial role in driving this bullish momentum. The team announced that World ID, the global identity network of the project, will be launching in Ecuador. The introduction of this system allows locals to verify their identities using the Orb and join the Worldcoin identity network. Verifications will be available at six locations across two cities in Ecuador.

The verification process will commence in Guayaquil on June 26, followed by additional locations in Quito on June 27. Individuals aged 18 and above who are interested in becoming part of the extensive Worldcoin network, which consists of over 5 million participants, can undergo Orb verification in these cities.

This development not only propels the Worldcoin token but also aligns with the project’s vision of providing a universal identity solution. The entry into Ecuador comes at a crucial time for Worldcoin, as it faces regulatory scrutiny and negative publicity in its ecosystem.

Furthermore, Worldcoin is set to expand its presence in Argentina through direct investments in the country and the establishment of more Orb verification locations. Tools for Humanity (TFH) will sponsor professional opportunities for at least 50 developers, operations specialists, software engineers, data analysts, and other professionals in Argentina as part of this initiative.

Worldcoin plans to open 50 World ID orb verification locations, including two experience stores, in more than ten cities across Argentina, with the launch expected during the summer season.

In other positive news for Worldcoin, Kenya’s Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has concluded its investigation into the project. Initially, Worldcoin had to halt World ID verifications in Kenya due to allegations of unlawful data collection and transfer. However, after a thorough review, the DCI found no substance in these claims and decided to drop the investigation, allowing Worldcoin to potentially resume operations in Kenya.

The successful operations in Kenya saw over 635,000 individuals download the World App, although a significant portion of them are yet to verify their identities using the Orb.

The surge in Worldcoin’s price and the positive developments in Ecuador, Argentina, and Kenya reflect the project’s commitment to expanding its global reach and providing innovative solutions for identity verification. As the crypto market continues to evolve, Worldcoin remains focused on driving positive change and adoption of its technology worldwide.
