MADRID, 28 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Minister of the Presidency, Relations with the Courts and Democratic Memory, Félix Bolaños, has reported that the leader of the opposition, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, did not inform the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, during the call, that the PP would suspend the negotiations to renew the General Council of the Judiciary (CGPJ).

In an interview on Cadena Ser, collected by Europa Press, the minister revealed that during the telephone conversation, Sánchez and Feijóo agreed to meet next Wednesday, November 2, and that the president learned of the suspension of the negotiation through the statement that the Popular Party made public yesterday afternoon. “The breakup occurs in a strange way because a conversation occurs and they agree to see each other next week,” he added.

In addition, he has pointed out that they already had a date to materialize the agreement, for which he has defended that the pact was closed, an extreme that the PP denies. In fact, he has detailed that “one was today and another was last Tuesday.” “We had the gaps in the agenda to materialize the pact”, he insisted.

The minister has assured that yesterday Feijóo “lost all his income” because “the agreement was made” and, finally, he has yielded to the pressures of the most “reactionary” right.
