MADRID, 28 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Second Vice President and Minister of Labor, Yolanda Díaz, assured this Friday that the blockade of the renewal of the General Council of the Judiciary (CGPJ) shows that the leader of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, “is not prepared to govern”. Next, she has attributed the suspension of the negotiations to the fact that she fears a “rebellion” in Genoa, as happened to the former opposition leader, Pablo Casado, in his conflict with the Madrid leader, Isabel Díaz Ayuso.
This is how Yolanda Díaz has spoken in an interview on Canal Extremadura TV, collected by Europa Press, about the suspension of negotiations to renew the CGPJ between the Government and the PP for the reform of the crime of sedition.
“Feijóo continues to be stubborn in failing to comply with nothing more and nothing less than the Constitution. A person who does not comply with and does not respect the constitutions is not prepared to govern,” said the leader of the United We Can part of the coalition government.
In this context, Yolanda Díaz has criticized that the PP “is the one who is breaking one of the structural powers of the State”: “They have been rebels for four years against the renewal of the judicial bodies, despite the arrival of a new leader.”
And it is that, Yolanda Díaz has attributed the breakdown of the negotiations between the Government and the PP to the fact that Alberto Núñez Feijóo is, in her view, very aware of the protests organized by PP militants in front of the PP headquarters to ask Married his march when he had the conflict with Isabel Díaz Ayuso.
“Feijóo has been a leader of the PP for a short time, but I think he has recorded that photo of the PP affiliates in Genoa rebelling against Casado”, Yolanda Díaz has proclaimed, adding that “that photo weighs too much on Feijóo”.
Finally, he has insisted that “the interests of the country are above partisan interests”, making the PP ugly, which, in his opinion, is the only formation that is thinking about the next elections.
