SEVILLA, 12 Abr. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The president of the Junta de Andalucía, Juanma Moreno (PP-A), has denounced this Wednesday the “intolerance” he perceives among those who currently lead the Executive of Catalonia, as well as the “persecution I would say hostile” towards people from other autonomous communities like the Andalusian, and before this he has said that he “misses” that the Government of Spain does not exercise a national leadership that translates into a defense of the territories that make up the country.
These are ideas that Juanma Moreno has come to convey during his speech in the presentation of the general coordinator of the PP, Elías Bendodo, in an informative meeting organized by Europa Press Andalucía in collaboration with Fundación Cajasol and with the sponsorship of Cepsa, Atlantic Copper, Azvi and Abades Group in Seville.
Moreno took advantage of his speech to underline that “Andalusia respects everyone, has stability and political tranquility”, but also comes out to defend itself “when someone makes fun of us, our customs, our accents or our way of feeling things “.
In line, he has referred to Catalonia as “a sister land” that Andalusians “love deeply”, and he personally “much more”, as he has “affective, emotional and family ties” with “a land that saw me born “, he remarked.
“Therefore, precisely because we love Catalonia, it hurts us to see how a land that has been so cosmopolitan, so open and so welcoming, today is directed from intolerance and lack of respect for other lands in Spain”, said Juanma Moreno, that he has alluded in this way to the “mock of the Virgin of Rocío” that was recently carried out from a program on the Catalan regional television, TV3, which “in the end is a mockery” also “about feelings and beliefs”, according to the opinion of the president Andalusian.
Moreno has also denounced the “persecution I would say hostile, aggressive”, which in Catalonia has been given “for example to an Andalusian nurse for expressing herself freely and criticizing the obligation to speak Catalan without offending anyone”.
In view of this, the President of the Board commented that “the Government of Spain is missed”, which, according to what has been explained, should “play a leadership role, in building a common and shared project that is Spain”, and “a much more decisive role when it comes to defending the singularities and differences that we have between the different territories and autonomous communities” of the country.
Moreno added that “of course you have to build bridges, and the Junta de Andalucía will always be there”, but he has warned that “bridges cannot be built above Andalusia”, from where it will not yield ” not a millimeter” in that sense, he has warned.
On the other hand, Moreno dedicated the initial part of his speech to praising the figure of Elías Bendodo, one of his “closest collaborators for many years now” and whom he himself “affiliated with the PP”, as he has previously recounted. to emphasize that he shares with him “a way of understanding politics as a great instrument of social transformation”.
Moreno has defended that whoever was his advisor to the Presidency in the Andalusian Government of the previous legislature has “many qualities”, among which he has highlighted his “enormous management capacity” and “intelligent ambition”, and has stressed that, since His current responsibility as general coordinator of the PP and director of the party’s electoral campaign for the regional and local elections on May 28, is “a piece that has become fundamental in the project” of the president of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo , “so that Spain has a better government for the Spaniards”.
Moreno has thus highlighted that he has “the best opinion” of Bendodo and his “worth”, and has maintained that he let him “leave” the Andalusian Government because “Spain needs to have Feijóo as president of the Government, and the presence of Bendodo in the The leadership of the PP strengthens Feijóo’s project and, in addition, contributes, together with colleagues like Juan Bravo, that touch, that Andalusian accent, that vision from the south that is necessary when it comes to shaping a political and social project for the country as a whole “.
In this line, the president of the Junta and of the PP-A has defended that Bendodo is “a very valuable asset to consolidate the only possible alternative to the current majority of the left” that governs in Spain with “parties that are practically in confrontation permanent”, with an “aesthetic of permanent misgovernment that damages the image and projection of Spain and weighs down the possibilities for the future” of the country, as Moreno has warned, who in response to this has appealed to the need for the Spaniards to have “a Government solvent, serious and moderate”.
“Andalusia will win if there is a project in the national government that has to be inclusive and with intelligent and sensible policies thinking of the citizen, and always with balance”, Moreno stated in this line, while claiming for Spain “a project in tune with the reformist policies that are working in Andalusia to create well-being and employment”.
Finally, Moreno has defended that “Spain will be a stronger and more prosperous country if there is cooperation, understanding and co-responsibility between the different administrations, and if there is respect” between them, he has emphasized.
