The Stellantis group registered 2,591 electrified passenger cars and commercial vehicles in Spain (100% electric and plug-in hybrids) of all its brands (Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Citroën, DS Automobiles, Fiat, Jeep, Opel and Peugeot), representing a share of market of 23.5%, as reported by the company this Friday.

In the accumulated year, Stellantis has registered 11,348 electrified passenger cars and commercial vehicles, with a market share of 23.8% of the total of 47,752 units, through the 40 models that the group sells through its brands.

In addition, Stellantis concentrates 26% of the market until May of 100% electric vehicles with 5,835 registrations. Among the three most outstanding models in this segment, the group places the Fiat 500e.

On the other hand, the group has registered 5,513 registrations of plug-in hybrid cars up to the fifth month of the year, taking a share of 21.8% and including three models in the ‘top 5’ of this market, the Peugeot 3008 Plug-in models. Hybrid, Citroën C5 Aircross Plug-in Hybrid and the Jeep Compass.

In the 100% electric commercial vehicle market, Stellantis highlights “its leadership” with a 54.5% market share so far this year, accumulating 2,178 registrations of this type of vehicle, while counting only the month of In May, the group has 54.7% of the total for this market, boosted by Peugeot, Citroën and Opel models, which according to reports are at the top of this ranking.
