MADRID, 30 May. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The leader of PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, has offered the votes of the Popular Party to the constitutionalist parties on Tuesday so that Bildu does not govern after the elections last Sunday, and has warned that his rise in the polls is “a concern”.

“From now on I put the votes of my party at the service of constitutionalism to withdraw from Bildu any possibility of government,” he proclaimed before the National Board of Directors of the PP, which began with a prolonged ovation after the victory of the party in the elections on Sunday .

Feijóo has admitted that the rise of Bildu in the elections is “a concern for everyone”, because “no one can rule out that this party will compete for the Lehendakaritza next year”. For this reason, he has indicated that, in the face of this “challenge”, he will set up a “solid government” that “knows how to say ‘no’ to those who at the moment respond with a ‘yes’ to everything they ask for”.

“But that will be as of July 23,” he said, adding that the challenge of “stopping” Bildu “is assumed from now on” with this offer to the constitutionalists after the results that this party has achieved in the elections of the Sunday.
