BEIJING, April 19, 2023/PRNewswire/ — The Yellow River Cultural Forum opened in Dongying, east China, on Tuesday. Under the theme of “Promoting Yellow River Culture and Telling Yellow River Stories”, Chinese and foreign guests and representatives held a series of exchanges and discussions on these two topics.

During the holding of this forum, nine provinces and regions along the river route signed a series of cooperation agreements to promote and tell stories about the Yellow River culture, engage in more exchanges in the fields of cultural and tourism development , and work together on the protection of cultural relics.

Yu Yunquan, Dean of the Academy of Contemporary Chinese and World Studies, shared his insights on the international spread of Yellow River culture and exchanges and mutual learning among the “great river civilizations.”

Yu urged further international promotion of high-quality content related to Yellow River culture, including translations of Chinese texts into foreign languages, and taking advantage of the Yellow River National Cultural Park so that people from all over the world can experience the beauty of the Yellow River.
