The Basque construction cluster Eraikune participates from this Tuesday until Thursday in Rebuild 2023, the Ifema Madrid Advanced Architecture Congress, in which it is known as a meeting point for trends and solutions in the sector solutions around industrialized transformation , digital and sustainable.

This was stated this afternoon by the president of Eraikune, Alberto Marín, in an act that brought together institutional representatives and companies from the Basque construction industry, together with the Deputy Minister for Housing of the Basque Government, Pedro Javier Jauregui.

In his speech, the president recalled that a year ago the cluster proposed to organize its participation in Rebuild 2023 with the aim of showing “the capacities and potential of the Basque construction ecosystem to entrepreneurs, professionals, public institutions, companies and others actors in the construction value chain”.

“Today we are here, in Madrid, presenting our most innovative projects and sharing our vision of the present and the future of construction with everyone”, he pointed out.

For his part, the Deputy Minister stressed that Eraikune is one of the most qualified representatives of the construction sector in the Basque Country, as well as stressing the importance of increasing the supply of rented and subsidized housing.

During the three days of the fair, Eraikune will have an 80-square-meter space, located in Hall 10 of Ifema Madrid, from which member companies will present their main solutions and innovations. Among them are Aislamientos Arellano, Bexreal, Cementos Lemona, Cementos Rezola Nexmachina, NorthBim, Viguetas Navarras, Odei.io, Construcciones Sukia and ARIC, the La Rioja Association for Construction Innovation.

The Eraikune stand also has its own agenda in which participating companies will present various initiatives and products, from industrialized construction solutions to immersive technologies that are changing the world of construction.

The construction industry is of significant importance, since it accounts for 11% of the Basque Country’s GDP and employs more than 115,000 (11% employment) people in the territory.

With more than 64 projects presented and 21 million mobilized in the previous year, Eraikune represents 150 entities from the entire value chain of the Construction industry.

Thus, there are 150 companies that employ around 20,000 people, and which include public administrations, business associations, knowledge agents, companies in the promotion, design, manufacturing, construction, infrastructure exploitation, valuation and smart-sector subsector. consulting, among others.
