Tokyo, Japan, March 27, 2024.- NHK WORLD-JAPAN will hold and broadcast these small-format concerts with Japanese musicians. ‘Tiny desk concerts JAPAN’ [MO1] will be an adaptation of the series created by the American public broadcaster NPR. The artists perform in an intimate setting with acoustics in keeping with the environment. Audiences around the world have embraced the format, which now attracts superstars such as Taylor Swift and BTS, as well as emerging artists.

Licensed as a platform by NPR, NHK WORLD-JAPAN will introduce Japanese artists to viewers. The inaugural broadcast will feature Fujii Kaze, an artist who has garnered recognition both inside and outside his country.
