BARCELONA, 20 Mar. (EUROPA PRESS) –
Prison officials have refused to negotiate with the Government unless there are resignations and have warned that they will continue with the protests that began on Thursday of last week following the murder of the head chef of Mas d’Enric (Tarragona) hands of a prisoner who later committed suicide.
“Very good words, very good willingness for us to be silent. We have said no, that if there are no resignations the fight continues,” Nuria Nasarre (UGT), one of the workers who has met with vice president Laura Vilagrà.
As Nasarre detailed after the meeting, the Government “does not rule out any resignation, but they have to investigate first.”
