MADRID, 5 Feb. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Taylor Swift has made history again at the 2024 Grammys. ‘Midnights’ has earned her her fourth award for best Album of the Year, making her the most awarded artist of all time in this category. The pop superstar has surpassed other great artists such as Frank Sinatra, Stevie Wonder and Paul Simon.

“For me, the prize is the work. The only thing I want to do is continue to be able to do this. I love it. It’s a lot, it makes me very happy,” said Swift, when collecting the historic award. The artist also had words of recognition for “a unique producer”, Jack Antonoff, who had already won the Grammy for Producer of the Year, and her collaborator Lana Del Rey, “a legend in her prime.”

Swift has taken advantage of her first victory to announce the launch of her next work. The artist will release her eleventh studio album, ‘The Tortured Poets Department’, on April 19.

For her part, Miley Cyrus has been proclaimed the winner of the Grammy for Record of the Year for ‘Flowers’. “This award is incredible, but I really hope it doesn’t change anything, because yesterday my life was beautiful,” Cyrus said.

The 66th edition of the Grammys has been led by female success since Victoria Monét has won the award for Best New Artist. “My roots have been growing underground, unseen, for so long, and I feel like today I’m finally sprouting to the surface,” she said.

Likewise, Billie Eilish has received the award for Song of the Year for ‘What Was I Made for?’, from the soundtrack of the film ‘Barbie’. Along with her brother and her co-writer Finneas, the singer has beaten Lana Del Rey, Taylor Swif, Jon Batiste, Dua Lipa, Miley Cyrus, SZA and Olivia Rodrigo. “Fuckin’ guy! I’m stunned!” she said when collecting the award in a category with “a crazy list” of “incredible” people.
