BARCELONA, 30 Ene. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The former president of the Generalitat and Junts MEP Carles Puigdemont called this Tuesday for a more solid and seamless amnesty law to stop the “patriotic impulse” of judges and prosecutors.

“This is what we have tried all these weeks, until the end; no one can say that we have not had the will to reach an agreement. But we have not achieved it,” he highlighted in a message published in ‘X’ and collected by Europa Press after Junts has voted against the proposal to process the amnesty law.

According to Puigdemont, they now have a few days to “redo the initial consensus” to achieve an amnesty that includes everyone, a commitment from which they will not budge, he has warned.
