BARCELONA, 29 Ene. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Junts plans to continue this Tuesday with the negotiation of the amendments that keep the amnesty law alive, as explained by sources from the party to Europa Press, who have assured that “for now there is no agreement.”

The plenary session of Congress will debate and vote on Tuesday afternoon the proposed amnesty law that the PSOE registered alone after agreeing with Junts and ERC.

The Justice Commission approved agreed modifications and the text went ahead with the vote of the three parties, although Junts believes that the exception for terrorism crimes should be completely eliminated, a point that the socialists assure that they do not want to change.

The spokesperson for the Federal Executive of the PSOE, Esther Peña, stated this Monday that “there is no change on the table in the position of the PSOE regarding the vote” on amendments that came from the Congressional Justice Commission.

However, he has refused to consider this text definitive, because “what there is is time and obviously in the parties everyone continues talking until the vote is held.”
