MADRID, 27 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) –
At least 15,000 people have died and 36,000 more have been injured as a result of the Israeli military offensive on the Gaza Strip, according to the latest official report published by the Gazan Government, controlled by the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas).
The statement also includes 1.5 million people displaced from their homes and 7,000 missing people who could be under the rubble of buildings destroyed in the bombings.
In addition, there are 50,000 homes destroyed, 240,000 damaged, 266 schools damaged, 67 educational centers destroyed, 103 public buildings damaged and 88 mosques destroyed and three churches with significant damage.
This Israeli military offensive is in retaliation for the attack by Palestinian militiamen on October 7, in which some 1,200 people died and more than 200 were kidnapped. The offensive is currently paralyzed under an agreement for the release of Palestinian hostages and prisoners reached between the parties.
