The European Commissioner for Justice, Didier Reynders, requested this Wednesday in a letter from the Government information about the “scope” of the future amnesty law that the PSOE is negotiating with Junts in the framework of gathering support to carry out the investiture of Pedro Sánchez. .
Specifically, the European commissioner has transferred the request in a letter addressed to the acting Minister of the Presidency, Félix Bolaños, and the Minister of Justice, Pilar Llop, where he demands “more detailed information” about the “personal, material and temporal scope ” of the eventual amnesty law.
“The Commission will continue its task by monitoring and defending the fundamental values ??of the Union in all member states and will continue to work with the Spanish authorities to guarantee respect for the rule of law,” the letter concludes.
