The independent operator will make the leap to Cuenca and Granada

MADRID, 16 Mar. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The independent operator Avanza Fibra has closed a financing agreement with Banco Santander’s Smart Fund to deploy fiber optics in 300,000 real estate units located in rural areas over the next three years, at a rate of 10,000 homes per month.

The company seeks to reach populations without a local operator and end this period in 2025 with a network that reaches one million real estate units, according to a statement.

Avanza Fibra, present in Almería, Murcia, Albacete, Alicante and Valencia, will thus make the leap to Cuenca and Granada to continue increasing its base.

In addition to the new networks, the company plans to open around 50 stores and create one hundred direct jobs and another two hundred indirect ones.

“This is the great leap that we have been waiting for, for which we have worked uninterruptedly for the last four years. Avanza will not only be a benchmark for our clients, but it will also become an example of self-improvement and conscious growth,” he pointed out. the CEO of Avanza Fibra, David de Gea.

The company has previously deployed fiber optics for MásMóvil, with 350,000 real estate units, the last ones delivered at the end of last year, while building its own network.
