MADRID, 15 Mar. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Vox assumes that the candidate for the vote of no confidence, Ramón Tamames, is an independent person who has his own opinions and “estimates”, even if they are not shared by them, the party that has proposed him as an alternative candidate for the Presidency of the Government.

“I don’t know if we have explained enough yet that Mr. Tamames is not from Vox,” replied the parliamentary spokesman for the formation, Iván Espinosa de los Monteros, this Thursday in the halls of Congress.

Espinosa de los Monteros has thus come up against the last words of Tamames that ‘clash’ with the postulates of Vox, such as calling it an “exaggeration” to say that the Government of Pedro Sánchez is the worst in history or recognizing that he has “esteem “to the chief executive.

“He is free to have esteem for whoever he considers, esteem that we do not share,” the Vox spokesman in Congress responded. “He is an independent candidate who has the right to express his opinion, we already know what we think about it,” he has delved into his assessment of the Government.

These positions of Tamames are added to other divergences with the policies of Santiago Abascal, such as his definition of Spain as “a nation of nations”, criticism of the partisan use of the flag or saying that Vox has “extremities”.

This Monday, Vox’s political spokesman, Jorge Buxadé, already refuted his candidate for the motion of no confidence for the first time by defending the party’s use of national symbols and claiming Spain as a “supernation.” He also acknowledged that he would not have dinner with Sánchez, whom Tamames did invite. “I have millions of Spaniards who are earlier on the list,” said Buxadé.
