MADRID, 13 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Rescue teams have recovered a body from the rubble of two collapsed buildings in Lille, northern France, in work carried out overnight.

At around 1:30 a.m., firefighters located a body that, in the absence of confirmation, would correspond to a 45-year-old psychiatrist, head of service at Calais Hospital, Alexandre Klein, according to the local newspaper ‘La Voix du Nord’.

“We had to take many precautions, the building had collapsed like a millefeuille,” explained a spokesman for the emergency services, Stéphane Beauventre.

80 firefighters, six dog handlers and members of the entire department work at the scene, Beauventre said.
