MADRID, 9 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The spokeswoman for the PSOE in the Senate, Eva Granados, has considered that the socialist formation “has nothing to say” about a possible pardon for the former president of the Andalusian Government, José Antonio Griñán, as the family has already officially requested .
This is how the socialist leader spoke in an interview with Europa Press about the request for pardon made this week by the family of the former Andalusian president, sentenced to six years in prison for his involvement in the fraud of the Employment Regulation Files ( EREs) carried out by the Junta de Andalucía during its mandate.
In this context, Eva Granados has assured that these processes “have already been sentenced” and that, therefore, she has nothing to comment on Griñán, although she has specified that “it has been made clear to everyone that nobody took a penny and that there is no any type of illegal financing”.
“In its day we said that the just paid for sinners, because I think it is a correct expression and that’s it,” added the spokeswoman for the PSOE in the Senate, who stressed that the party’s structure “does not have to pronounce” on this possible pardon, because, as he recalled, it is something that the family has requested.
