MADRID, 4 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Russian government has claimed to have destroyed this Friday a base of “foreign mercenaries” in the surroundings of the Ukrainian city of Mikolaiv, without giving a balance of casualties, within the framework of the invasion unleashed in February.

Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov told the press that four ammunition stores have also been destroyed and four Ukrainian drones shot down, according to the Russian news agency Interfax.

He also stated that the Russian troops have repelled several attacks by the Ukrainian Army in the direction of Kupianski and Krasno-Limanski and has put the number of Ukrainian soldiers killed in the fighting in the last 24 hours at 110.

Shortly before, the Ukrainian Armed Forces had assured that they had killed 840 Russian soldiers in registered combats during the last day and pointed out that about 75,000 Russian soldiers have died in combat since the beginning of the invasion.
