The Government of Japan has condemned the launch of ten missiles by North Korea into the Sea of ????Japan, describing as “totally unacceptable” the projectile fired by Pyongyang and that has fallen near the South Korean coast.
After North Korea launched ten missiles into the Sea of ??Japan early Wednesday, Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida warned that Pyongyang “has been launching missiles at an unprecedented rate,” referring to to the almost 40 projectiles fired by the Asian country in a month. “It’s totally unacceptable,” Kishida said.
In this sense, the Japanese Ministry of Defense has announced that its Government has presented a protest to North Korea through its embassy in Beijing, according to the Japanese news agency Kyodo.
However, Japan’s Defense Minister, Yasukazu Hamada, has warned that two of the ballistic missiles launched by Pyongyang have fallen outside Japan’s exclusive economic zone, with no damage to planes or ships.
“They flew about 150 and 200 kilometers at a maximum altitude of about 150 and 100 kilometers, respectively, and may have flown irregular trajectories,” Hamada said.
