MADRID, 1 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) –
French striker Karim Benzema is the main novelty in Real Madrid’s squad for Wednesday’s visit to Scottish Celtic Glasgow on the last day of the Champions League group stage.
The ‘9’ had missed the Madrid team’s last three games against Sevilla, RB Leipzig and Girona due to being ‘touched’ muscularly and now coach Carlo Ancelotti must decide whether to start him or leave him on the bench.
On the other hand, the Italian coach will again have the loss of a key player like the French midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni, who already missed the league match against Girona, and will also not have the Belgian Eden Hazard available, who also trained inside of the Real Madrid City facilities.
The squad list is made up of Courtois, Lunin and Luis López as goalkeepers, Carvajal, Militao, Alaba, Vallejo, Nacho, Odriozola, Lucas Vázquez, Rüdiger and Mendy as defenders, Kroos, Modric, Camavinga, Valverde and Ceballos as midfielders, and Benzema, Asensio, Vinicius Jr, Rodrygo and Mariano as forwards.
