Two employees of the Methodist Dallas Medical health center in the United States have died after receiving two fatal shots during the shooting that took place on the morning of this Saturday. The suspect, who was on provisional release, is in police custody, according to Sky News.
Néstor Hernández, 30, has been arrested on suspicion of murder after being wounded by an officer who opened fire on him with the aim of subduing him. The suspect was on probation for a robbery crime and had a monitoring bracelet on his ankle, according to the Dallas Police Department and collects the chain.
At the moment, the reasons that led him to open fire are not known, nor is it known if he knew the victims.
For its part, the center located in the state of Texas has conveyed its grief over the loss of the two team members in a written statement. “Our entire organization is in mourning for this unimaginable tragedy,” they have expressed.
