MADRID, 21 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) –
Belgian goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois is the main novelty in Real Madrid’s squad for this Saturday’s match (9:00 p.m.) against Sevilla at the Santiago Bernabéu, corresponding to matchday eleven of LaLiga Santander.
The goalkeeper returns to the list a month later -he has not played since last September 18, in the Metropolitano derby-, after missing six games due to sciatica. Thus, Courtois will be in the white goal, already fully recovered, to the detriment of the Ukrainian Andriy Lunin, who will return to the bench.
With the rest of the team in full condition, Ancelotti will only present the absences of midfielder Dani Ceballos, injured two weeks ago in the biceps femoris, and striker Mariano Díaz, also with physical problems.
Thus, the list is made up of goalkeepers Courtois, Lunin and Luis López; defenders Carvajal, Militao, Alaba, Vallejo, Nacho, Odriozola, Lucas Vázquez, Rüdiger and Mendy; Kroos, Modric, Camavinga, Valverde and Tchouameni, as midfielders; and forwards Hazard, Benzema, Asensio, Vinicius and Rodrygo.
