The Barça follows growing in Munich

MADRID, 18 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Barça continued to give a feeling of improvement in their game and added this Tuesday their second victory in the 2022-2023 Euroleague Regular Phase after comfortably winning 73-84 in their visit to a German Bayern Munich that created fewer problems than the planned thanks to the great second part culé.

The Catalan team arrived at the Audi Dome in the Bavarian capital warned of the difficulties experienced against Andrea Trinchieri’s team in last season’s ‘playoffs’, but the German team showed that at the moment it is not close to its best competitive level.

Sarunas Jasikevicius’s men found their rhythm and attacking success after the break. Until that moment, the locals had managed to grip them like before, but the wrists of Alex Abrines, first, and Nico Laprovittola, later, finally unblocked the clash.

It was always difficult for Bayern to make a basket easily and they survived at the start of the game thanks to free throws, with which they were able to counteract a Barça that started at the Audi Dome somewhat denied from the triple (2/10).

The scoreboard reflected the equality (18-18) and the dominance of the defenses until Abrines opened the ban from the triple. The four hits by the Balearic gave a small advantage to his team, although the locals found in Rubit and his defense the way to continue with all the options intact at the break (34-37).

But after passing through the locker room, Barça came out very successful, especially from the line of three. The triples of Satoransky and Laprovittola (2) caused the visitors to finally command with some comfort (36-48) and a monumental anger from Andrea Trinchieri.

Bayern tried to react, but with Rubit better controlled and Lucic not appearing, the advantage continued to be very favorable for the visitors thanks to the fact that they kept their good hand in the triples with three more from Sanli, Laprovittola and Tobey who seemed to break a clash , although his rival held on to have options for the final ten minutes (53-65).

Bayern tried to cling to their options and a ‘2 1′ from Lucic made them drop from ten behind (58-67). Jokubaitis was then the response of Jasikevicius’ men to stop this threat of reaction from the German team. Even so, Rubit had a triple to make it 71-78 with more than three minutes and a couple of more possessions to put an emotion that in the end did not exist.
