The Ibex 35 began this Tuesday’s session with a decrease of 0.62%, which has led the index to remain below the level of 9,400 integers, reaching 9,327.46 points.
Investors will be watching the release of construction permits, retail sales and home sales in the United States today.
This week, inflation data for Germany and Spain will be released, as well as the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) for the United States, which will be published on Thursday.
For its part, on Friday attention will be focused on the evolution of the United Kingdom economy, inflation in the eurozone and unemployment in Germany.
In the early stages of this Tuesday’s session, the biggest increases within the Ibex 35 were recorded by Meliá Hotels ( 0.26%), Naturgy ( 0.23%), Logista ( 0.17%) and CaixaBank ( 0. 14%).
On the other hand, the biggest decreases were recorded by Amadeus (-1.32%), Inditex (-0.63%), Ferrovial (-0.35%) and Telefónica (-0.25%).
The main European stock markets also opened this Tuesday with a negative sign: 0.56% for Paris, 0.48% for Milan, 0.47% for Frankfurt and 0.39% for London.
At the opening of the stock market, the price of a barrel of Brent quality oil, a reference for the Old Continent, fell 1.06%, to 90.91 dollars, while Texas stood at 88.73 dollars, a 1.06% less.
In the foreign exchange market, the price of the euro against the dollar advanced to 1.0573 ‘greenbacks’, while in the debt market the interest required on the 10-year Spanish bond climbed to 3.889%.
