‘Génova’ says that it is a “more ambitious” proposal after including zero rates for new self-employed workers in its program during the first year

MADRID, 25 Sep. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The leader of the PP and candidate for the Presidency of the Government, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, will bring a new proposal to the investiture debate that begins this Tuesday in Congress: new entrepreneurs will not pay taxes during the first two years.

This is what sources close to his team have told Europa Press, who have stressed that it is an “ambitious” measure with which the PP wants to help all those who decide to take a step forward, set up a business and undertake.

According to the ‘popular’, in those 24 months is “when they most need this help from the administrations.” “For those who start a business, we have to lay out the red carpet and give them tax treatment that is appropriate to their economic needs so that they can start that business,” the same sources have pointed out.

Feijóo will assume this commitment to entrepreneurs if he is elected president of the Government, a possibility that the PP itself admits is “complicated” because they only have 172 supports (the deputies of PP, Vox, CC and UPN), four seats behind. the absolute majority.

The leader of the PP will take the speaker’s rostrum of Congress with a package of economic, social and institutional measures that were already included in the electoral program with which he presented himself to the general elections on July 23.

However, he will take advantage of his speech to introduce new proposals such as this one relating to “zero taxes on new entrepreneurs during the first two years”, a measure with which the PP is committed to giving “preferential tax treatment” to those who decide to open a business. business and undertaking, as ‘popular’ sources have indicated to Europa Press.

“They are tax bonuses and we will influence this measure if we achieve the investiture so that the venture is subsidized,” party sources explained, adding that the PP wants to give an “answer” to a problem they have detected: administrative obstacles. that the self-employed and entrepreneurs find themselves “not finding understanding of the Public Administration.”

The PP already committed in its general program to deploy a zero rate for new self-employed workers during the first year if it reached La Moncloa, but now it is launching a “more ambitious” proposal, according to ‘Génova’, by betting on zero taxes for entrepreneurs during 24 months.

Sources from the PP have advanced that there will also be measures regarding VAT, personal income tax and for the self-employed. Thus, Feijóo will propose direct aid to people with the most economic needs at a time when inflation remains high, as well as a reduction in personal income tax for measured and low incomes that he already included in his general electoral program.
