almost twenty years ago, in the summer of 2000, and listed on the stock exchange, Telia, and the government sold 30 percent of its shares. As a minister in Göran Persson’s government, I was responsible for opening the company to private ownership. It was the right one: there is no good reason for the government to take the telecom operators.
