We have added to all the BCH-payments of the Gemini platform, a Replay protection to ensure that transactions are on the Bitcoin ABC Blockchain is valid. Each crypto-currency that is not sent to Gemini via a Blockchain, which we support, like Bitcoin, SV (BSV), is invalid and not recoverable. We will evaluate Bitcoin SV in the coming weeks or months, and decide, whether we support Bitcoin SV in the future or not.“

Furthermore, Winer emphasizes that in the case of Gemini, the “most regulated” crypto exchange in the world. Accordingly, joyfully he proclaimed however:
“We have worked closely with the New York State Department of Financial Services, the authorisation to trade with a BCH. […] We are proud to offer our customers a safe and compliant method for the purchase, sale and storage of crypto-currencies to offer, while we are shaping the future of money.“
