BBVA has decided to appoint Pablo Martín, who had already been holding positions of responsibility at the bank, as head of BBVA Quality Funds, its division in charge of selecting third-party investment funds.

The banker began his career at the entity in 2001 as a commercial manager of employment pension funds at BBVA Asset Management. Later he joined BBVA Global Markets in the sale of OTC derivatives and structured products to medium-sized companies and institutions, between 2005 and 2008. In 2008 and until 2010 he was responsible for the equity distribution desk of the BBVA network.

In 2010 he joined BBVA Quality Funds as commercial manager, and since 2012 as head of Funds Solutions, where he leads the BBVA group’s relationship with the different external managing entities, customer service, data solutions and investment operations. international funds for Spain

Quality Funds has a team of 30 people in charge of selecting investment funds from other managers to offer to their own clients.
