The Spanish team beats Ludogorets (0-1) and will go straight to the round of 16

MADRID, 27 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Real Betis won (0-1) this Thursday against Ludogorets in the penultimate matchday of Group C of the Europa League, three points with which they certified the first position that gives them direct access to the round of 16, thanks to a goal from Fekir in the 56th minute.

Manuel Pellegrini’s team beat a rival with their first steps in Europe in recent years, which was close to Claudio Bravo’s goal in the first half. Betis reacted in the second act, with the entry of Fekir and Álex Moreno, scoring the goal and dominating the match.

The Betis team found a dangerous Bulgarian champion on the counter but without success against Bravo. Of course, the local offensive line caused quite a few problems for a Betis without the ball and who regretted Joaquín’s injury at the start. The pressure and ball recovery also gave results to Ludogorets.

The Betis defense suffered but was also successful in warding off danger and, after the break, Pellegrini’s team struck with the first shot on goal. In a throw-in, Luiz Henrique invented the wall with his back turned so that Fekir finished off the ball without letting it fall directly into the net against a Miranda defense.

The changes soon resulted in a Betis that also regretted Guido’s injury. The Andalusian team recovers its rhythm, after a defeat and a draw in the League, with its good European dynamics, 13 points out of 15 and sure to be first, saving itself a tie of 1/16, to which Ludogorets still aspires in conflict with Roma.
