The general secretary of the Popular Party, Cuca Gamarra, stated this Wednesday in Logroño that Pedro Sánchez is carrying out “an exercise in democratic degeneration” to “avoid being controlled by counterpowers such as judges, the opposition and the free media”, compared to what has been defended by the summons to give explanations in Congress that the ‘popular’ have made to the President of the Government, and the PP alternative for a “true regeneration.”
In a visit he made this morning to the Concentric Architecture Festival, which ends today in the capital of Rioja, Gamarra pointed out that “we have lived a spiritual retreat, so to speak, of Pedro Sánchez for five days and when the time to face the Spaniards, what we have found is a President of the Government who did not assume any type of responsibilities and continued without giving any type of explanation to the problems that surrounded him.
“When he reappeared – continued the leader of the PP – the problems of the Spanish people were there and remained there. He only talks about a problem that he imagines, some persecutions that he says he suffers, but the reality of Pedro Sánchez is that “He has a personal problem, which is a political and judicial problem. But while he worries only about that, about how to escape from that problem, the Spaniards have all their problems there.”
Thus, in his opinion, “what Pedro Sánchez does with this great deception is that he wants to turn 48 million Spaniards into secondary protagonists of the reality of our country.”
He has made reference, on the other hand, to data “on the growth of unemployment and job destruction, the data from the last week of inflation, how prices continue to rise and people do not make it to the end of the month, how we Spaniards continue to pay more personal income tax and it does not adjust to the increase in the cost of living, therefore there is more tax pressure, the problems continue for young people to access housing and so we could add up.”
“We see,” he added, “how every day there are more Spanish families that have all their members unemployed or how the Spanish shopping basket already has 10% of Spaniards who cannot even eat protein two days a week.” week.
