ZARAGOZA, 7 Dic. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The general secretary of the PP, Cuca Gamarra, defended this Thursday the multilateralism of the Fiscal and Financial Policy Council and warned: “We will not allow the validation of the agreements of that framework to be submitted, neither before nor after, to whatever they want.” the independentists”.

Before chairing a meeting of the Steering Committee of the PP Aragón, Gamarra pointed out that the Council “is the appropriate body to discuss the regional financing model” and the PP is not going to lend itself to “supplying” it. “Neither tables nor mediators and, of course, in Spanish territory.”

“It must be within this framework of the Fiscal and Financial Policy Council, where multilateralism is guaranteed, where the regional financing model is negotiated, respecting equality among Spaniards, which has a lot to do with the financing of the autonomous communities,” Gamarra continued, adding that the PP will not allow the President of the Government of Spain, Pedro Sánchez, “to continue to remain in power and provide perks and privileges to the independentists.”

The president of the regional government and the PP Aragón, Jorge Azcón, has criticized that the Government of Spain has called, for Monday of next week, a meeting of the Council “forgetting about the elephant in the middle of the room.”

He explained: “When all the autonomous communities have the Budgets on track, the Council convenes to talk about how to make the Budgets of the communities and forgets about the autonomous financing and the forgiveness of the debt that they want to give to the Catalan independentists and to the rest of Sánchez’s partners”.

“The PP is going to defend that the benefits have to be for the citizens and that it cannot be that there is a political caste that has privileges over others because they have the votes for Sánchez to be president.”

“They want to take most of the cake to Sánchez thinking about his political and not general interests,” Azcón considered, asserting: “What we are going to do is defend the interests of the citizens.”

He has complained that the Government of Pedro Sánchez wants that, of the 3 percent deficit authorized by the EU for 2024, 2.9 percent be for the General State Administration and 0.1 for the autonomous communities, observing that It is the communities that provide basic public services of health, education and social services.

He concluded by stating that “the PSOE cannot continue talking about equality because when the moment of truth arrives it applies unequal decisions that have more to do with its political interests than with the real interests of the Aragonese.”
