MADRID, 20 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Spanish forward Juancho Hernangómez has taken advantage of his first title with the Toronto Raptors and has touched the ‘double-double’, although the Canadians have lost in overtime against the Atlanta Hawks (124-122) in a new NBA day.

Trae Young’s 33 points and 12 assists guided the Hawks, third in the East (10-6), to victory at the State Farm Arena, where the 28 goals from Scott Barnes and the 27 from the British Ogugua Anunoby were not enough for the franchise visitor, in the seventh position of the same conference (9-8).

For the first time in more than a year -since he played with the Minnesota Timberwolves-, Juancho once again had more than half an hour on court, and took advantage of his first opportunity as a starter to score the first six points of the game for Nick Nurse’s team.

Thus, the man from Madrid touched the ‘double-double’ by scoring 10 points -5 of 9 shots from the field- and grabbing nine rebounds, to which he added two ball recoveries in his 32 minutes of participation in a match that decided a basket from ‘rookie’ AJ Griffin with three seconds to go.

JUANCHO HERNANGÓMEZ: 10 points, 9 rebounds and 2 steals.
