PERPIGNAN (FRANCE), April 5 (EUROPA PRESS) –

The head of the ‘Junts Puigdemont per Catalunya’ list for the Catalan elections, Carles Puigdemont, has left his residence in Waterloo (Belgium), and has moved since Easter to the French Vallespir, in the Department of Pyrenees-Orientales in the south of France .

This has been explained by Junts sources, who assure that it is a decision taken within the framework of Puigdemont’s desire to return to Catalonia.

The former president had announced two weeks ago that he was going to leave “exile definitively” to personally attend the plenary session of the Parliament if he is a candidate for investiture after the Catalan elections of 12M.

Puigdemont’s will is to face the pre-campaign and the electoral campaign from his new residence, despite not specifying the town where he has settled.

For this reason, he has already moved to his new house in the absence of picking up some things from his residence in Waterloo.
