GIRONA, March 30 (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Bolide and Meteorite Research Network (SPMN) of the Higher Council for Scientific Research (CSIC) has detected an “artificial bolide” flying over Catalonia and the Valencian Community from France around 10:59 p.m. on Friday, and does not rule out that it was a ballistic missile.

Collaborators of the network have shared videos in which an object is observed, which, after leaving France, “flew over Girona and Barcelona to enter the Balearic Sea and finish its journey to the South of the Valencian Community”, they have reported in a publication in X collected by Europa Press.

“Studying it from the Institute of Space Sciences (ICE-CSIC) to find out its origin, we opted for a ballistic missile,” the message adds.
