The 11th China Science and Technology City (Mianyang) International High-Tech Exhibition will be held from November 22 to 26 in Mianyang, Sichuan Province. The theme of this year’s Expo is “Led by science and technology: innovation, transformation, openness and cooperation”, and the guest country of honor is Indonesia. A series of activities will be carried out both online and offline.
A series of exhibitions will be held this year. Important scientific and technological projects and exhibitions, such as the lunar exploration program, “Artificial Sun” and “Five Hundred Meter Aperture Spherical Radio Telescope (FAST)” will be exhibited together. To enhance visitors’ experiences, this year’s expo creates an online 3D exhibition pavilion and provides an immersive mode for visitors. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the China-Indonesia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, and Indonesia is invited to be the guest of honor. The national image and related scientific and technological innovations, technologies and products of the country will be displayed in various aspects at the Expo. At the same time, five activities of the Guest of Honor Country will be held, including the opening ceremony of the national pavilion, the Indonesia-Mianyang Industrial Cooperation Meeting, the Indonesian Commodities Week, the Culture Exchange Activity and Science and Technology of Traditional Medicine, and Indonesian Nature and Documentary Photography Exhibition.
Mianyang is China’s only science and technology city, the second largest economy in Sichuan Province, and the third largest city in Sichuan and Chongqing.
