The winger urged them to “be smart” and be “focused” to get out of this situation, in a “crucial” match for their European aspirations

Sevilla FC footballer Alex Telles acknowledged on Monday that the duel in the Champions League group stage against Copenhagen is “crucial”, so he asked to be “focused” on a match in which they will do “everything” to take all three points.
“We are focused, we know the importance of tomorrow’s game. We have to do everything, we are prepared and ready to look for the three points,” said the winger at the press conference prior to Tuesday’s game (6:45 p.m.).
Telles admitted that “it is a difficult match”, since the Danish team has “players with a lot of quality”. “We have to be ready for all the difficulties that the game may have. But at home we feel very comfortable and we will do everything to win,” he added confidently.
“No player wants to be in a situation like this, we know the importance and history of the club. We have to do everything possible to get out of this bad time. This happens, but we have to be smart to work and be focused”, he commented on the situation current situation that Sevilla is experiencing, and for which this Tuesday’s game seems “crucial”, since a defeat would leave Seville without the Europa League.
Finally, Telles assured that he is “ready to play anywhere”, after trying in different positions on the defensive side since the arrival of Jorge Sampaoli on the bench. “I train and I’m focused on giving my best wherever the coach puts me, I have to be smart and adapt as quickly as possible,” he concluded.
