TOLEDO, 20 Mar. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The four bodies belonging to a woman and three men that were found in a house in the Casco de Toledo late in the afternoon this Tuesday do not show signs of violence, as Europa Press has been able to confirm from sources from the Delegation of the Government of Castilla. -La Mancha, who specify that they could have been intoxicated.

Different sources of the investigation point out that the poisoning could be due to a gas or carbon monoxide leak, although work continues to clarify the facts.

After 12:30 a.m. this Wednesday, the last of the four bodies was lifted from the house on the Cuesta de Santa Leocadia in Toledo, in the historic center of the city.

The last of the bodies corresponds to a woman who had been dead for several days, as has been confirmed after the first observations and as confirmed to Europa Press from different sources close to the investigation.

The first versions obtained from the personnel who attended the emergency indicate that this body was in an advanced state of decomposition, and could correspond to a person around 60 years old.

Furthermore, as confirmed by the agency, there is no apparent disorder on the floor where the bodies were found. Forensic doctors have worked in the area, accompanied by the deployment of local police.

The four corpses were distributed, one in a room, another in a second room and the other two together in the same room.

The National Police has been investigating since 8:00 p.m. the appearance of four bodies, a woman and three men, in a house in the Historic Center of Toledo, on the Cuesta de Santa Leocadia, as Europa Press has been able to confirm from Government Delegation sources.

As confirmed by Europa Press, the discovery occurs after a warning call from one of the relatives of the deceased, who had not heard from them since last Friday.

From different sources, Europa Press has been able to confirm that the victims could have been dead for several days. Firefighters, local, national and judicial police are at the scene, where several funeral service teams have already arrived.

THE MAYOR, “SHORTED”

The mayor of Toledo, Carlos Velázquez, has been “dismayed” after the appearance of the bodies, and in statements to the media, he has pointed out that now it is time to “let the professionals work” to clarify the facts.

“Let them investigate to find out the events that have occurred to reach this outcome,” he stated, emphasizing that the bodies have not yet been identified and that there is no hypothesis that can be put forward.
