Several members of the socialist Executive complain about a call for transfuguismo and point to the president of the PP

MADRID, 22 Sep. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Several members of the PSOE leadership and socialist deputies have reproached the president of Andalusia, Juanma Moreno, for having called for the rebellion of the socialist deputies, so that they allow the leader of the PP and candidate for the Presidency of the Government, Alberto, to govern. Núñez Feijóo. In Ferraz they consider that he is encouraging a new ‘tamayazo’ and they point directly to Feijóo as responsible.

The senator and secretary of Electoral Action, Javier Izquierdo, has charged against the PP by pointing out that the resort to “transfuguism” is a common practice, “one of its great successes,” he wrote in a message in X, collected by Europa Press.

In the same message, Izquierdo echoed the statements of the Andalusian president, who stated that the socialist deputies must rebel “on principles” and allow Feijóo’s investiture, in an interview in El Confidencial.

The deputy and deputy member of the Organization Secretariat of the PSOE, Juan Francisco Serrano, has expressed himself along the same lines. “When your only proposal is to encourage a tamayazo, your political time is about to end,” he indicated in reference to Moreno.

Likewise, the deputy and secretary of Labor, Social Economy and the Self-Employed, Montse Mínguez, has directly blamed Feijóo and considers that it is a reflection of her loneliness as a leader. “This calling for the” rebellion “that Feijoo and his media antennas are doing is a reflection of loneliness and ignominy as a leader,” she wrote on the same social network. “With the socialists, don’t count for such baseness,” she warned.

The general secretary of the PSOE of Andalusia, Juan Espadas, has also expressed his rejection, accusing Moreno of “naturally inciting transfuguism”, in addition to wondering if the Popular Party “are capable of repeating the tamayazo.”

Finally, the deputy for Malaga, Ignacio López Cano, has assured that the socialist parliamentarians will comply “with the mandate of the polls” and therefore will vote “no” to Feijóo. In addition, he has recommended Moreno to ensure that healthcare works well and stop asking others to fail to fulfill their obligation.

The socialists thus evoke the episode in which they lost the Presidency of the Community of Madrid in 2003. After the elections were held, the PSOE had a majority to make Rafael Simancas president thanks to the support of Izquierda Unida.

However, the absence of the PSOE deputies, Eduardo Tamayo and María Teresa Sáenz, in the investiture vote allowed Esperanza Aguirre to gain a majority and the PP to maintain control of the Community.
